Almost
A cinematic piano piece about hesitation, distance and the fragile moment between stepping closer and turning away.
Until almost becomes enough.
AVAILABLE NOW ON ALL MAJOR STREAMING PLATFORMS.
Almost was written while imagining a scene between a man and a woman. He moves toward her again and again, but each time he gets close enough to touch or embrace her, hesitation holds him back and the moment slips away.
The story unfolds through repeated attempts to close that distance. At times she seems almost within reach, only to disappear before he can truly hold on to the moment. Eventually, she remains. They finally embrace and begin to dance a slow waltz together.
But the title Almost carries a deeper meaning. It is about coming close to something beautiful without ever fully being able to live it, keep it, or make it part of your life. He reached her, held her and danced with her — yet, in the end, he never truly got the chance to have that love as his reality.
The piece lives in that fragile space between desire and fulfillment, closeness and distance — the feeling of something that was nearly yours, but somehow remained almost.
