Born and raised primarily in Piraeus, Greece, Panos Baltas also spent many formative years on the island of Salamina, where the sea, rugged landscapes and quiet moments in nature became an enduring source of inspiration.
Long before he began composing, these environments quietly shaped the emotional language that would later define his music.
Although he studied Computer Science and works professionally in the technology sector, music was not part of his early life. His background in software, multimedia, web design and digital production later became a powerful advantage, allowing him to develop every aspect of his artistic identity independently.

Story Time
From My First Notes to My Own “Noema”
It all began when I watched one of my favorite films, The Intouchables, for the fourth time. Throughout the film, Ludovico Einaudi’s beautiful melodies accompany the scenes, giving even greater depth to every emotion.
When the film ended, I was so excited and deeply moved that I went straight to my room and tried to play “Una Mattina” on a virtual piano, using my computer keyboard.
Which key was C? Which one was D? Until then, I knew far more about command prompts than musical notes!
Of course, I did not manage to play the piece that night. But something inside me had already changed.
The following day, I bought my first digital piano, a Yamaha NP-12. I did not waste a moment and immediately began trying to play “Una Mattina” again. Once more, the result was not what I had hoped for.
I soon realized that I first needed to learn the basics. I needed to understand the notes, discover the language of music and truly explore the instrument standing in front of me.
From that day until today, I have never stopped studying, experimenting, discovering and, above all, feeling. With each passing day, the piano fills my life more and more.
Today, I can play “Una Mattina” literally with my eyes closed. I can listen to a piece that moves me and find my own way of playing it by ear and through emotion.
I have now created 11 original compositions, while several more are already in progress, waiting to find their way into the world.
I fell in love with the piano from the very first note. Today, it is no longer simply a musical instrument to me. It is the way I express everything that cannot always be put into words. It is a place of freedom, creativity and genuine emotion.
The piano is now my life. The piano gives Noema to my life.
The Journey Continues
What began as curiosity became a profound creative commitment. With discipline, persistence and daily practice, Panos gradually developed his own musical voice as a self-taught pianist and composer.
His growing catalogue of original piano works reflects an artistic world shaped by emotion, atmosphere and storytelling.
Musical Identity
Inspired by contemporary cinematic music, modern minimalism and neoclassical piano, Panos creates intimate compositions that combine expressive melodies with subtle ambient textures and delicate orchestral elements.
His music explores memory, nostalgia, hope, solitude and quiet reflection. Rather than demanding attention, each piece invites the listener to slow down, breathe and experience emotion in its purest form.
Every composition is imagined as a scene from an unwritten film — a place where melody tells the story and silence becomes part of the music itself.

Every release is created independently by Panos, from the first musical idea to its final presentation.
Composition, arrangement, recording, sound production, mixing, mastering, cover artwork, video production, website development and overall visual identity are shaped under one unified artistic vision.
His technical background allows him to combine music, technology and visual storytelling into a complete creative experience, giving each release its own distinctive character and atmosphere.
