About the piece

Faded Waltz marks my second step into composition.. a moment where I began to explore rhythm and movement. It was my first attempt at a waltz, born from the desire to capture a quiet, melancholic nostalgia… a dance between two people that, in the end, was never danced. Within the piece, the dialogue unfolds through octaves.. a subtle conversation between a man and a woman, answering each other in fragments, in pauses, in what remains unsaid. A waltz that fades before it truly begins, leaving behind only emotion, memory, and silence.
